The Biggest Podcast
Welcome to the first episode of THE BIGGEST PODCAST. The point of the podcast is to find people in the Big and Tall community that are successful (in their own way), hear their stories, and relate to them. Growing up, brands and people were less accessible and you were able to hear from people in your tight network. Now, with the power of social media, we can connect to anyone around the world. We can hear and learn from the stories of perseverance and how they accomplished what they wanted to.
Tristan D. Lalla
Tristan is our inaugural guest. He is born and raised in Montreal, Canada. He's an actor, recording artist, dancer and more, and he has been in the industry for about 20 years. I actually go way back with Tristan, but we haven't seen each other in years, he was a cameo in my first music video, and when he saw that I launched ONE BONE, he hit me up right away. He was the perfect guest for the first episode because I wanted it to have a local feel, and his story of how he overcame and persevered through being typecast as the "big", "older" men in acting roles is awesome.
What We're Wearing
Tristan is 5"9, and is wearing the Black Scoop in a size 2. He explains in the podcast that he has never felt so comfortable in a t-shirt.
His relationship with clothing is normally an argument, but ONE BONE feels like a conversation.
I'm 6"3, 280lbs, and wearing a Grey Pocket w/ a Pinch in a size 1. Funny enough, the Pocket w/ a Pinch is our shortest cut, and the scoop is our longest. The Scoop doesn't look excessively long on Tristan, while the Pocket tee isn't short on me at all. We really wanted to try and create this happy medium between Big and Tall, so once we know what size ONE BONE we are, we can always be confident in how we look.
