I rarely write reviews, but this shirt has me buzzing. I normally avoid button-down shirts and dress shirts in particular because I normally have to size up 1-2 sizes to avoid the buttons pulling across my belly when I sit, and the shoulders and arms end up way to baggy (usually wear a 4xt but buy 6x dress shirts). The sewn up lower half of this shirt combined with its stretchiness is an absolute game changer, and so obviously clever I can't believe no one else has done this before! I got this in a size 4 and it's the first dress shirt I wasn't either swimming in, or afraid to sit down. The price tag is high, but worth every penny if you're in the same boat as I was. Ordering a second one in black today!

I bought this shirt for my partner as he needed a white shirt for a wedding and the brand was recommended by a friend who loves One Bone. My partner is a handsomely 6’2 thick boy with a tummy, and the shirt fit perfectly. He loved how it was long so that when he lifted his arms up on the dance floor, the shirt didn’t pull out of his trousers, and the fact that there was no “pull” on the buttons in the stomach area. He said that he felt confident and comfortable (and so many people couldn’t keep their hands off of the fabric as it felt so nice). Well done, One Bone!

I bought this shirt about a year ago for casual wear and as a dress shirt for once-in-awhile wear. It was great in that regard, but I recently found that the breathable texture and lack of overly bright shininess made it a great shirt to wear on stage for theatre. For my last production, I wore this shirt for three weeks of shows, as well as a full 10-day tech week plus dress rehearsals - this means wearing the shirt and other parts of my costume every night. Due to the lights, choreography, heaviness of the rest of the costumes, movement, etc. all of the cast were sweating quite a bit each night, so I was washing this shirt nearly every night for three and half weeks.
While I don't recommend this, I can say that with repeated use, including heavy wear and daily laundering in normal household appliances (no fancy drying or washing instructions, just small wash and dry cycles with soap pods), it still looks and feels brand new. No stray threads, no wear marks, no weird thinning of materials, no loss in breathability, buttons all accounted for and confidence-inspiring... really surprised at the abuse this has taken. I picked up this shirt as a once-in-awhile dress shirt, but it an absolutely function as your every week work horse. Very impressed.
